Georgianne Kloss, '70
Georgianne attended St. Rose of Lima Grammar School until 1966 and then Paul VI High School, which was the first four-year graduating class. Sr. Marian Ingellis was a mentor to Kloss during her high school years. Kloss was a member of the Girls Basketball team, the homeroom President, and wrote for the Talon. Georgianne was even voted Most School Spirit in her senior year, and that hasn’t changed in over 50 years; she still has PVI Spirit.
Kloss pursued a career in education at Glassboro State College, then returned to Paul VI for student teaching in 1974. Georgianne started teaching at Shawnee High School in the English Department and eventually earned her master’s degree as a learning consultant, along with other Administrative degrees. She taught at Shawnee for 38 years and coached girls basketball and track and field.
She is a firm believer in the Paul VI motto “Fortis in Fide” and loves to volunteer in various forms. She is a greeter at St. Rose of Lima Church, serves on numerous committees, and participates in school golf tournaments.
Georgianne strongly believes in giving back and supporting as many fundraising efforts as she can by disseminating information to classmates.
