Ronald Faith, MS ’86

Ron attended Dartmouth College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in both Engineering Sciences and Philosophy. He graduated with honors and went on to earn a master of science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington.
 
Ron has been a technology executive in Silicon Valley and Seattle since 1991. He worked in software at Apple and has held multiple senior leadership positions in venture-backed startups in technology waves from personal computers, Internet, mobile and cloud computing, to space. In addition, he is a published author and a patent holder.
 
Ron and his wife, Brandi (Evans) Faith, have three children, Ian, Derek, and Hailey. Ron’s brother Kenneth Faith ’87 is also a PVI alum.
 
At PVI and in college, Ron had many athletic accomplishments and recognitions.
 
For cross country at PVI, Ron was the school’s first NJ Meet of Champions Cross Country winner in 1985 and the school’s first Kinney (now Foot Locker) Cross Country National Qualifier in 1985. In addition, he was a member of the NJ Meet of Champions Championship Team in 1984; a member of the NJ Parochial A State Championship Team in 1983, 1984, and 1985; and a member of the First Team All-South Jersey in 1983, 1984, and 1985.
 
For Track and Field at PVI, Ron was the NJ Meet of Champions winner for the 3200m in 1986 and the NJ Parochial A State Champion for the 3200m in 1986.
 
For cross country at Dartmouth, Ron was a member of the NCAA DI Cross Country Championship Team that finished second in 1986, second in 1987, fifth in 1988, and ninth in 1989. The team finished in the top 10 of the NCAA meet all 4 years. Individual honors included All-East, All-Ivy, team captain, and MVP. In addition, he was a member of the HEPS (the Ivy League Conference Championships) Championship Cross Country Team in 1986, 1987, 1988, and 1989. Ron was also HEPS Cross Country Championship individual runner-up in 1989.
 
For track and field at Dartmouth, Ron was a member of the HEPS Indoor Track & Field Team Champions in 1988 and 1989. In addition, he was a member of the HEPS Outdoor Track & Field Team Champions in 1988. Individual honors included All-East and All-Ivy.
 
As a student-athlete, Ron was inspired by PVI Coach Michael Glavin, who encouraged him to dream big inside and outside the classroom and not to be afraid to fail in the attempt.
 
Ron encourages each current PVI student to be a lifelong learner, surround yourself with people who are smarter than you, and share your passion for making a contribution to others. Ron believes that success is a team sport and notes that he will forever be humbled by and grateful for the support he has received from his parents, family, teammates, teachers, and classmates.
