Richard Stagliano, '71

Rich Stagliano has served on the Paul VI High School Board of Trustees for the past 10+ years. He has been the Vice Chairperson of the Board and has Chaired the Institutional Advancement Committee for 10 years.

Rich received a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and a Master’s Degree from Columbia University. He credits his upbringing and education for his interest in psychology, social justice, and the helping professions. Beginning his career as a licensed marriage and family therapist, he began with Family Counseling Service in 1981 and was appointed Executive Director in 1991.  In 1999 after he facilitated the merger of three local non-profits, Stagliano was named President/CEO of the new organization called Center for Family Services (CFS). Over the past 43 years, Stagliano and his executive team have grown CFS to be one of the largest non-profit organizations in the state. With more than 80 locations across New Jersey, the organization provides important professional services to the community in the areas of mental health, substance abuse treatment, children’s residential treatment, child welfare, family support, sexual assault, domestic violence, early childhood education, and others.

In 2018, Stagliano was recognized as one of South Jersey Biz Magazine's “Executives of the Year” and in 2022, he was named “Man of the Year” by South Jersey Magazine. In 2023, he received the “Humanitarian Award” from the Community Planning and Advocacy Council of Camden County.
